Acting & Drama

There is a saying that goes 'drama is a reflection of life" or in the words of Shakespeare:

"The world is a stage. Everyone is an actor."

Throughout history, in every country and culture, people had enjoyed putting up and watching performances or acting in them. Drama/plays do more than just tell a story; they bring the story to life vividly. As they entertain, they also tell you about new ideas, other people and yourself.

Acting in a play or on television or on whichever form of medium, is a terrific thrill, and everyone involved in the performance, learns about responsibility, team-work, and most importantly, about the excitement of creating something.

However, there is more to drama than just a play and acting out a performance on stage or TV.

Discover drama as a platform to teach one about life's issues and themes, in a way that is entertaining, educational and fun. Hence, many students are exploring problems and situations that concern them and the society through drama by acting them out. They will then reflect and discuss how they feel about them.
